Allegro sp. z o.o. with its registered seat in Poznań at Wierzbięcice 1B, 61-569 Poznań (hereinafter: "we" or "Company"), an operator of an online e-commerce platform available at www.allegro.pl (hereinafter: "Allegro") is the controller, i.e., the entity which decides how your personal data will be used.

We received your data directly from you in connection with the application for your participation in an event organized by us.

⦁ What personal data of yours do we process?

We process personal data contained in your submitted application's content, particularly your first name, last name, and email address.

⦁ What are the purpose and legal basis for the processing of your personal data by Allegro?

Your personal data will be processed on the basis of:

-    Article 6(1)(a) RODO (consent) in order to enable you to participate in an event in which you are interested and to conduct direct marketing.

-    Article 6(1)(f) RODO (legitimate interest of the data controller) in order to prevent fraud and abuse and to ensure accountability (to demonstrate our compliance with legal obligations).

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

⦁ Do you have to provide Allegro with your personal information?

Providing us with your personal data is voluntary. Still, it is necessary to participate in an event organized by us. Not providing the data excludes the possibility of participating in the event. However, there are no other legal consequences.

⦁ What rights do you have regarding the processed data?

We guarantee you that you will be able to exercise all of your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e., the right to access, rectify or erase your data, the right to restrict the data processing, the right to data portability, as well as the right to object to the processing of your data.

You may lodge a complaint in relation to processing your personal data by us with a supervisory authority, i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (the address: President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland).

⦁ In what circumstances can you object to the processing of your data?

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when the processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest and the objection is justified by your particular situation. An objection to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes does not require any justification.

⦁ Who do we share your personal data with?

Your data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients: providers of IT systems and services, entities providing technical, organizational, and advisory support, and entities providing legal services in situations where this is justified by the purposes pursued.

Your personal data may also be shared with entities entitled to receive them under applicable laws, including the relevant judicial authorities.

⦁ How long do we process your personal data?

Allegro processes your personal data in order to:

- enable you to participate in the event - from the date of their acquisition to the date the event ends;

- Direct marketing - from the date of their acquisition until:

a) the date of notification of withdrawal of your consent to processing them for Allegro's direct marketing purposes;

b) until the end of a period of 3 years from the end of the year in which the event took place;

- to prevent fraud and abuse and to defend against claims from the time they are obtained for 3 years counted from the end of the year in which the event took place.

If necessary, your personal data will be processed until the definitive conclusion of civil, enforcement, administrative, or criminal proceedings requiring the processing of personal data.

During the above periods, your personal data will also be processed for accountability purposes (to demonstrate our compliance with legal obligations).

⦁ Do we transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area?

Your Personal Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to:

- Google Cloud Poland sp. z o. o. with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland, in connection with the use of the electronic mail system and the Google Workspace tools for statistical and administrative purposes and in connection with the use of Personal Data processing services offered by this entity to ensure the provision of services by Company offered on Allegro;

- SFDC UK, Ltd (SalesForce) with its registered office in London, UK, in connection with the use of Personal Data processing services offered by this entity to ensure the provision of services by Company offered on Allegro;

- SFDC Ireland, Ltd (SalesForce) with its registered office in Dublin, Ireland, in connection with the use of Personal Data processing services offered by this entity to ensure the provision of services by Company offered on Allegro;

The Company always relies on mechanisms ensuring an adequate level of protection, including using standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to personal data processors established in third countries, approved by the European Commission. You can receive copies of such clauses from the Company by writing to iod@allegro.pl.

⦁ Do we engage in automated processing of your data (including profiling) in a way that affects your rights?

Your personal data will not be subject to automated processing (including profiling).
